Alistair’s new collection of poetry – Like Never Before – has now been published by Flapjack Press.

His first collection – Not What We Were Expecting – released in 2024, was 40 years in the making. These new poems have all been written in the last 18 months.

As before, some are comic, some poignant, some observational. Nearly all follow the theme of a changing world – linguistically, politically, environmentally – and the changes we all experience as we age. This is Alistair – like never before – commenting on a world that is accelerating like never before.
